18th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas Pull Out Its A-Game
The 18th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas Convention held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha was a spellbinding success, and GoKapture is proud to have played a part in making it so.
Pravasi Bhartiya Divas, celebrated on January 9 every two years, is a way of commemorating the return of Mahatma Gandhi to India from South Africa in 1915. With the theme of “Diaspora’s Contribution to a Viksit Bharat” this time, the celebration, having started in 2003, is a way of acknowledging and celebrating the overseas Indian family and their contribution towards the nation’s growth. India’s topmost leaders, including the Hon’ble President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with various other key cabinet ministers graced the event with their presence and support.
The occasion called for value entertainment, something that would encapsulate the theme of the celebration and engage the varied audience. GoKapture, along with the organizing team, decided to develop two custom digital games to elevate the joy. Our interactive game in Bhubaneswar was a double bonanza of Cyber Slice and Career Chooser. The first was a variation of a popular digital game that people of all demographics would love to give a shot to, an exciting aim and slice skill-based game that incorporated widely familiar graphic elements to synthesize a vibrant and dynamic gameplay.
The second game was particularly designed to carry within it the message of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and the citizens’ contributions to the same. As the name suggests, the game allowed people to trace and test which career options were viable for them, based on a few simple questions they answered pertaining to their interests and goals.
