Shaan’s Symphony Unveils with Custom Song-Requesting Application
Standard Chartered treated its high-profile, priority customers to a stunning show by the beloved Bollywood singer and actor Shaan on the evening of October 23, 2024, in an annual ritual of according a token of appreciation for their loyalty. This edition was particularly special, as the bank utilised the platform to launch the Global Indian Programme and also announced the inauguration of their first international banking centre in Mumbai.
Standard Chartered is a renowned name in global banking for both private and commercial business clients. SCB’s priority banking is a membership-based domain of services granted to long-term customers fulfilling certain holdings and investment parameters. Offering hoards of preferential rates and complementary services, SCB Priority cultivates a sense of exclusivity and belonging among its members, and it is this exact sentiment that was to be stirred through a special concert at Sahara Star, Mumbai. The star-studded musical night was meant to house its Priority Banking and Global Private Bank clients, along with the senior leadership team from India and abroad. The organizers approached GoKapture to design a bespoke solution for making this event memorable and stand out.
To cater to the sense of nobility that would make this concert experience one of a kind, our in-house team came up with a song-requesting application. The custom web application in Mumbai was designed around five of Shaan’s most iconic Bollywood hits, such as Chand Sifarish and Jabse Tere Naina, and allowed attendees to express their choices with a selfie. The app was made accessible and user-friendly, which guests could log in to from any device and register. A dropdown menu of songs enabled them to make their song request while clicking a picture of themselves, both of which would be projected on a real-time display on the stage.
There was an element of automation added to make the concert interactive and encourage participation, while also making for a lively stage display that transformed through the course of the night.
