Citroën Basalt Hits a Six on Media Drive with VR Games in Goa

The Citroën Basalt SUV Coupe is receiving thunderous applause in its debut journey across the country. A 5-day media drive was organized as a campaign highlight at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa in the first week of August, allowing people an intimate look and feel of the car.

A French automobile company, Citroën is a globally renowned name, synonymous with elegance and comfort. Citroën India has created a particular place for itself in the market with its economical range of SUVs, making style, power and performance greatly accessible to the country’s aspirational middle class. In this bid, Citroën Basalt SUV Coupe is a major launch of 2024 in the automobile industry, grabbing eyeballs left and right with its sleek yet muscular design and smart features.

GoKapture joined Citroën Basalt on its promotional journey in Goa from August 2 to 6, lending its event technology support to invigorate the occasion. The primary agenda of this media drive was to:

We offered the organizers a range of VR Games to choose from, of which the obvious choice came out to be VR Cricket, representing Citroën India’s brand ambassador, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, a prominent star of the cricket world. The virtual reality gaming experience proved a novelty for most, attracting attendees to try their best shot. The setup was fully customized to display the brand and the model in the limelight, alongside a picture of its ambassador whose personal philosophy reflects Citroën’s own values.

Framing the event was our Light Painting Photo Booth in Goa, shining light on the occasion (quite literally!).
